Im thinking of joining the marine corp...?

If I join I want to let everybody know how they influence my life, made me who I am, and what I like/liked about them most...I mainly want to do this if I go into combat, it may not happen and I may not join but I'd still would like to tell these people why I love having them in my life with out sounding corny any ideas? Please no rude comments
