What does when someone has trouble making eye contact with you?

Today I noticed something I have never noticed in life. It seems like a lot of people have a hard time holding eye contact. Men and women. Corporate for the Restaurant chain Ruby Tuesday. Usually when we open a new location, myself and some of the other corporate people will go and p out coupons at a Mall , try to get some hype out about the new location coming in. Well , today we were doing this at a mall, and a Co-Worker of mine pointed out to me that it seems people have a hard time making eye contact with me. I conscienceless didn't even notice it. After he told me he noticed this after watching me interact with random people, ping the coupons. I began to notice it. I'm not an ugly person. I'm of Mixed ethnicity, blk-white... I have shaved head, I'm not menacing looking or anything. I noticed this happend with the majority of the people after him saying this. That literally 8 or 9 out of 10 people had a hard time looking me in the eye while speaking to me. Now I feel like something is wrong with me. Am I staring too hard? Is Eye contact not a good thing?
